Testimonials

“Last week was a highlight of my life and hunting career. I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the hunt last week.  It was a great time being able to share something that I love to do with a great group of men that I admired and respected before I met them for what they have sacrificed for our country and after I met them, I admire and respect them for who they are as men. It was an honor to share camp and a stand with Rob, Brian, Keith, and Nate.”

“The backpacking event that Cross the Divide provided on May 18-20, 2022, was an excellent opportunity to engage in fellowship with like-minded men. In a time where life is hurried and rushed, it was great to disconnect, slow down, and explore deeper relationships with God and with each other. The event challenged me in many ways to explore my faith in an outdoor setting that brings us closer to the Lord’s creation. I would highly recommend these events hosted by Cross the Divide to others, and I am personally looking forward to future events.”

"I can honestly say that I was not 100% sure what to expect during the Cross the Divide backpacking adventure. I was expecting to connect with other veterans and have some of those standard two-inch-below-the-surface discussions about our journey in the service, in our transitions, and in our faith. However, I did not expect the depth of connection to God's creation, our own stories, and each other that being out in nature and disconnecting from our constructs allowed. I personally made some profound discoveries about some of my own challenges and was provided some incredible encouragement from finding those threads of connection with other veterans in their personal challenges and successes. An amazing venue in the Olympic mountains, genuine and dedicated facilitators, and an incredible group of fellow veterans made for a deeply meaningful trek. Thank you, Cross the Divide, Mo, and Chris, for your leadership on the trail and in our personal walks."

"The entire experience…was time well spent… Men don't always look forward to uncomfortable experiences, but they almost always bring them together…
"I learned what my next steps are in the journey to heal the wounds I have caused with my wife and son. I realized that I have already arrived at a crossroads, and now I need to take some definitive action steps. This was not the expected result, but it has been a positive one."
